Our Response to Recent Feedback

  • We’re aware of the echo issue in the studio and are actively exploring possible solutions. Due to the structure and size of the space, along with budget considerations, we’re unable to make immediate improvements at this time. This is something we’re keeping in mind for future upgrades.

In the meantime, for clearer audio, using video editing apps to add a music track over the footage can be helpful. Many common mobile editing apps can do this easily.

  • Our class schedule is planned based on our studio availability and instructor availability. While we understand that students may attend classes at multiple studios, our scheduling decisions are made independently and do not take other studios’ schedules into consideration.

That said, we do our best to offer diverse content across different time frames in order to accommodate more schedules and give students more options.

If you’d like to share feedback related to other studios’ scheduling, we’re afraid that’s outside the scope of what we’re able to accommodate. Thank you for your understanding.

  • We’ve received recurring feedback regarding not being selected during filming, and we’d like to clarify how this typically works in class.

When filming takes place, we consistently divide the class into multiple small groups so more students have opportunities to be recorded. We also actively encourage students to record multiple rounds whenever possible.

At times, an instructor may pick a student for a solo or a smaller group. This can be because the instructor feels there is something valuable for the class to learn from that dancer, or because students voluntarily step forward. In other cases, the instructor may choose to dance with certain students or have the entire class perform together. All of these are standard and common teaching practices in dance classes.

We encourage students to view moments when others are dancing or being filmed as part of the learning process. An opportunity to observe, learn, and support your fellow dancers. Cheering on classmates and staying engaged during these moments helps create a positive and motivating class environment, rather than feeling discouraged if a turn doesn’t come up right away.

We truly appreciate everyone’s participation and encourage students to take advantage of every opportunity as part of their growth.

  • Feel free to submit your favorite K-Pop dances or music you’d like to learn. While we can’t guarantee every request, we do take popular demand into consideration when planning classes.
